We began our work in England where gatherings are not casual affairs. They are considered. Heirachy is respected. Elegance is expected. Purpose is understood, even when it is not spoken aloud.
A Letter from our Founder
I began my event planning career in England, being born into a family who indulged in hospitality I learned that elegance was assumes and hierarchy quietly observed.
It was there that I learned that the most powerful gatherings were rarely the most extravagant. They were the most intentional. Guest list were curated with care, flow was considered and purpose of each gathering completely understood.

That grounding has never left me.

I enjoyed a fulfilling event planning career in the media industry as well as in philanthropatic circles in England, learning to understand people and their motivations, values and how to establish their intentions. I lived the industry, perfecting the art of curating a timeless event that delivered on it objectives, be it social connection, philanthropatic engagement or corporate alignment.
I learned that connection is the foundation of all transactions.

When I moved to Canada I founded McGarvie Wallace, it was not to create another event company, nor to approach fundraising as a series of transactions. It was to preserve a way of working that respects people, relationships and the subtle dynamics that shape influence and generosity. I have, over time, seen that when individuals feel thoughtfully brought together, when they are truely seen, respected and aligned with a cause; something remarkable happens. Conversation deepens, trust forms and giving feels natural rather than expected.
